Arkansas just lost a committment from a highly rated QB (who would want a QB named Pick anyway). They are now courting a kid from Lewisville (Hebron) by the name of Tanner Marsh. Nothiing on him in Rivals that I can find. 6'3" 180, 4.8 is all I can find. Anyone up there ever seen him play? The recruiting guys up here are touting him highly. Maybe he is the type of kid that a fresh start could attract if one is in the making.

Can you imagine the confusion of listening to his games on the Radio?

Can you imagine the stories they were already starting up here with former QB Johnson, QB [deleted], QB [deleted], and QB Pick.

Marsh is one of the area 5A passing leaders at Hebron. They run the spread. I think he is around 1,750 passing yards for the year and is coming off back-to-back 300 yard games. Not sure of height and weight. Obviously, he can wing it.
This is a different look for the Hawks because they went with that firecracker Brian Auboshcon last year.
Hope that helps.

That's creepy, more than anything. I'm hoping you went to Hebron, since you actually know their nickname. Why you know his recent stats makes me hope you have a son or nephew on the team.
That you call someone a "firecracker" -- especially a guy with the last name "Auboshcon" -- is nothing short of horrifying.

Update on Marsh:
He's listed at 6-3, 180 and leads area 5A QBs with nearly 2,300 yards.

And what would you call Stallion, the master of stats and recruiting ratings?

Since Bennett is a lame duck, I think it is the solemn duty of the ponyfans to get out there and recruit this kid. General, can you arrange an in-home visit? I'll start stocking up on burgers and Cheer.

Update on Marsh:
Those familiar with the situation say he has no offers. Even though he is a senior, this is his first year to start so the Division I schools are apparently holding out to see what he really has and if he can really contribute at the DI level. Apparently, the 6-3, 180 are legit.
That may be a copout. You would think during the May evaluation period that some may been sold but the problem Marsh faces is that he's probably some DI's 3rd or 4th choice.
However, former Flower Mound QB Nick Stephens never took a snap until his senior year and had committed to Ole Miss before he ever played. He switched to Tennessee and is running third string.

Wasn't former Southlake QB Greg McElroy collecting offers before he took over that offense, too?

I think that's right. I know McElroy participated in that Elite 11 camp at Stanford in the summer before his senior year.
