At least it is exciting.

I'm thinking anything TCU can do SMU can do better. And I invented the Jones argument more famously known worldwide as "SMU must FIRST build a MODEL that will allow it to compete on an even basis with its historical and traditional rivals." You are possibly infringing and diluting my intellectual property/copyright/trademark rights in the Model* by stealing my argument and simply renaming it. I may be have to sick my team of lawyers led by jtstang(aka "peanutass") upon you.
*The Model is the Intellectual Property of Stallion, Inc and any unauthorized use, infringement or dilution of said intellectual property rights may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law.

ya know, i used to think so, but not so sure anymore. SMU as an institution doesn't seem smart enough, savvy enough or aware enough of its surroundings.

The only difference is that I'm generally right-the 98% of the people that keep hoping to find a miracle coach who will coach 'em into a consistently strong program are wrong-if its accomplished it will be because of a substantial upgrade in talent.
My little pony is so insightful..
Think through this, though. Upgraded talent = consistent winning. Possibly, I guess. That equation does have quite a few holes in it, though, given that the rest of the college football world is likely to change as time passes. It also assumes that talent can just be instantaneously upgraded. Not likely.
I am going to spare myself the time of suggesting how to win because I dont want to read the reply about "didn't you read my model??? I am right 98% of the time...I AM SMU FOOTBALL"
Models are good to look at but if ever have to hear one speak, just start running... They should all just stick to magazine covers...

(: (: No lawyers please! Your a good dude Stallion and thanks for reading and responding to my crap. I could turn this thing around in one year, but Turner and board of regents would fire me after on season because I would win, fill the stands and bring football players to school.

That's The Modelâ„¢

Please suggest to us how we are to win. Obviously in 20 years nobody else has had an idea, so yours cannot be any worse. On top of that start a suggestion box. At this point I am willing to listen to the grandparents, inlaws, and children.

Today is for Jim Caswell, people. Let's get one for the man who embodied everything we all love about the Hilltop.
You don't have a clue do you? Your name must be Gerald Turner?
