Looks like ours did last week — did #6 (Craver) even TRY to wrap Sanders up?

Tulsa's D has been bad all year. Our D is the surprise today. Both teams have shown they can score so this is far from over

Tulsa's D may have been bad all year, but they sure were better than our offense when it counted! I thought our offense was supposed to be the STRENGTH of the team this year? Not with that weak of an offensive line their not. I would submit that the failure to establish itself this year in most of our games is the primary reason that we only have 1 win. Yes our defense has been bad, but it has been made to look bad by an offense that has sputtered most of the year with the only playmaker being Willis. The OL does not open holes for the running game and pass protection, for the most part, has been abysmal! I see very little improvement from last year. Because we couldn't make the 4th and one twice at Rice, we replaced Faucette as the strength coach. I really think that the real blame falls more on the head coach and offensive coordinator for their lack of imagination more than anything else. As I have said previously, it is hard to get a yard on 4th and 1 for most teams pro or college. The failure rate seems to be awfully high when the play is run up the middle. I prefer a rollout pass/run. Its a little less anticipated and much harder to defend.
