After SMU, what does he do? How does he cope with a new coach walking his halls and how does this affect current players?

Darth wishes nothing but the best for PB....

[On a personal note, I have had a couple of dealings with PB. He has always been personable and gracious. He went above and beyond the call of duty in dealing with knuckleheads like me. I wish him the very best and God's speed!]

He has two stepdaughters from his recent marriage and a daughter from his first marriage. The whole family is pictured at the front of the 2007 media guide.

I think the play of our defense has hurt his chances to be a DC at a BCS school. He was successful at Kansas State with Stoops' players and his defense at SMU could not tackle. I think he will be what he has always been, a decent position coach who can recruit Texas. And a nice guy. Who has a moustache.

Thanks for the compliment. I really do appreciate it. When Darth talks in the third person it is for dark humor schtick. When it is in the first person, it is what is felt in my heart. Several on this board know that no one bleeds read and blue more than I. I love the Ponies. As I said before, I wish no ill will on PB. I just believe that he wasn't the guy for the job and Copeland made a very poor decision.

This is another opportunity for us in Ponyland. I do believe that Orsini will make the right decision..........

With that said......

Darth says.....Where's the Kool-Aid?!? :lol:

P.S. Darth won't get on the funeral pyre until PB has left...ROFL! :lol:

Bennett's daughter goes to private school somewhere outside of Dallas, I can't recall whether it was Austin or Houston or College Station or wherever it was, it wasn't Dallas. Ironically, she desires to attend Auburn but her daddy was pushing SMU...who knows what now.

And I already miss him...I almost feel betrayed. He promised me and a few others that he would turn this [deleted] around. And then he would remember some of us young (then) people. That was hardly why we did what we did...but i care about Phil.

Until we start next season 0-4.... oh SNAP! I think I just cracked wise on the whole state of SMU football affairs! Do I get a medal? Or a stern talking to?
