We're three or four plays -- admittedly missed plays -- from being 3-2. I hope the naysayers received more patience from their schoolteachers and employers as they learned than they're showing the Ponies.

Beat San Jose State! And yes, I'm headed north for the game. Two years ago, SMU started 0-4. They made the trip to San Jose and got their first win of the year. I was there to see that one, and I'll be there next week.

I'm not one of the doom and gloomers, but I'm fed up. I saw better preparation and gameday decisions from Cavan. He was a sorry [deleted] coach, but Bennett has proved to be no better. Recruiting is one thing, but if Bennett were a great coach, he could make something out of these kids in the WAC for god's sake. We wanted immediate results, but we hired a first year coach. So more waiting and praying... lets hope Bennett picks up some coaching skills along the way.
