for me phil bennett remains the best person for smu i am not for dropping a coach or a lot of coaches to start again on a bet that someone will be better. we are litterally inches from winning we need to support him and stick with it until we can win and honor the whole contract. smu has not won but certainly the program is respected from his leadership. i dont hear the alumni complaining about the coach but just leaving it all up to the administration . coach bennett still has the support from the alumni and deserves it as he has given smu all that he has.

I really hope two things here:
