Looks to me like they googled ponyfans.com and based the odds on how many times each name had been used.

FIELD = anyone else not on the list who is not important enough on their own merits to get a mention. FIELD pertains to the Offensive/Defensive/ Coordinators who are supposedly geniuses in their fields OR the I-AA division head coach whose claim to fame is recruiting Walter Payton, Peyton Manning, Herschel Walker or somesuch.
Like stated previously, probably someone we would hire....

Todd Dodge put up 600 yards passing with an offense full of guys we didn't recruit against our "defensive-minded" head coach.

Well, the guy hasn't beaten anybody this year!! quite a switch from the Southlake days . . . but I have a feeling he will turn NTSTC aroudn eventually to a 5 win team.
Sports, and all that implies.

the field must be Turner Gill. And i would like to see the field at the top of the list. The more i think about it, the more i like Gill. Barnett might be #2 for me. Barnett has a lot of things on his resume that apply to SMU.

I'd say field is 3-1.
The only time "field" isn't the safe bet is when the alternative is Tiger Woods.
