He pretty much made it quite clear he was committed to winning when he made a midseason fire. He also hit the nail on the head when he said none of us can give up on the ponies at his point, which some of you already have.
Sir, shooting-star, sir. Frosh 2005 (TEN YEARS AGO!?!) The original Heavy Metal.

I feel the same way, I just hope the fans are decent at the Rice and UCF games (not in attendence (we know that won't happen) but in attitude, not booing the team and jeerig Bennett)
Sports, and all that implies.

The fans (those that are there) will be great. Shouldn't even be a concern.

I don't think you should worry. SMU fans typically show no emotion--positive or negative--at home games.

I actually believe that those of us that show up will be more supportive than ever from the stands. We love the players, respect what Bennett tried and have no reason for anything but optimism at this point. After the kool aid has been consumed, filtered through the kidneys and relieved from our bodies, and we are through the first few games of next year, things may change, but for now, I am excited about finishing out the year and moving forward.

Be sure to bring your own refreshments, as the west concession stands are already out.

I hope so, I have just seen the ugly before in the stands . . . 2005 anyone? and hope it doesn't happen again (then again, he was still the head coach then and it was all, "you suck", "horrible call", "go back to Kansas State" , etc.
Go stangs! win out and start next year on a hight note!
Sports, and all that implies.

I would think a six pack of cola and large bag of chips will handle the crowd.
