Well here at Texas State we have a first year coach whose team is finally coming together, don't think a first year coach is what you would want. SFA has lots of problems and is 0-8, don't think they should look there either. If you want to go for a lower division head coach look at someone like Pete Fredenburg at Mary Hardin Baylor. He has D-1 experience, DC at Baylor for 13 years and for 3 years at LSU, 75-25 record over nine years at MHB, won numerous conference championship and gotten the program to a National Championship game and all that with a D-3 with no scholorships to offer. He is also the only coach that program has ever had.

What about the HC at Trinity? Anyone who can devise that 15-lateral TD should deserve a shot at the "big" time...

Steve Mohr:
Been at Trinity for 18 seasons, they are 7-1 this year, his overall winning percentage at Trinity is .723 136-52. Taken them to 13 conference championships and been to the National Championship game once, National Quarterfinals four times, but I doubt he would go anywhere else. If you are at one place for 18 years seems to me like you would want to retire from there.

I wish SMU would find another station from which to broadcast games. Half of the Hardline went to TCU so you know they will have nothing good to say about our program. TCU has a great deal with 103.3 ESPN radio. They are truly committed to TCU and we don't get that same level of respect from the Ticket.

TCU earned its respect on the field.

couldn't listen-but based on what is written above it appears that this is the first Coach sinc the DP that has stood up in front of the media and stated that SMU is not on an equal footing with its competitors and listed generically the areas we've been debating for 20 years. Is that a fair synopsis of Bennett's point? I'm not saying-I'm asking?

More or less. It wasn't as emphatic or clear as you might like. Would like to have heard Orsini's response.

The Ticket is a sports talk radio station?

Sounds like abunch of juveniles locked in their parents basement broadcasting illegally. Not a dime's worth of intelligent discussion comes from any of their on-air "personalities".

I do listen to SMU games on the Ticket, if I'm not in attendance.

Hopefully we'll hear the recap and I'd like to hear what he said about restrictions. I wish a report would ask Orsini about specifics around these areas. He claims "everything is in place" ...hahaha.

Yes, because we couldn't get the proper coverage the damn press conference warranted. We're all aware of the rebuilding process from academia on up. We always talk about that. So I don't have a problem telling you that our flagship station is full of garbage.

the ticket sucks big time. craig is full of himself and wants to take the position of a "football elitist"!

someone needs to remind him that he went to UNT! the antithesis of elitism!

he's a spare!
