This is what I am saying. Keep focusing all your attention on the team that bust their butts everyday while you sit and post stupidity. The disaster is the institutional [deleted] that creates the football program. We have players leaving this program/school all the time in the last 20 years. Some of them succeed in sports and other succeed elsewhere, Josh Mc, and the other QB that is on Dallas practice squad, can't think of his name comes to my mind at this point, and I am sure there are others. And it happens everywhere since you think it is such a shame! At least you got excited and that is what we need, some excitment.

so you really think ALL the players BUST THEIR BUTTS week in and week out...can you lay off the shrooms that you got from that bball player from gonzaga dude. i can tell you for a fact that the players dont bust their butts everyday. because if they did, we wouldnt be 1-7

Can't arugue with the 1-7, but I attend enough practices to know that they work harder in the weight room, film room and pratice field than what you and most of these Monday morning QB's ever thought about. I never said we had good players. Sounds likd your career JT.

I thought we didn't have players. I thought we just had students on the football team. Which is it?

Ok, I heard it from some of the students playing football. But I do appreciate all of you making my point for me. That nobody wants to play here after they get here. Poor old HS kids don't know any better, but after being around some of you and reading some of the BS, I am surprised we have a football team. Talk bad about me all you want my professional baseball career has been over for 25 years, but when do you all grow up and use the same aggression towards the real issues and not bad mouth players who want to play at a winning institutions and play for winning fans, as well as bad mouth someone who is just speaking the truth. No jokes, no one liners, just the truth about this defunct program.

Big Daddy never made it to the dance according to the baseball almanac, since the last Mustang to play Major League baseball played in the 1940's. So, he must of spent a lot of time riding around on busses in Mexico.

Clearly, you're void of a sense of humor. It's a message board...why in the world would I take that seriously? Although I will be honest, I don't care for mother jokes.

haha, my career actually sounds like a few of the players on the team...i did enough to get by on the practice field to be a 2nd teamer for most of high school career. im sure theyre getting better in the weight room and maybe watching more film but i was always told that the hard work you put in on the practice field will pay off come game day...its payed off to 1-7 so far

Why bag on the kids here? We just fired the coach & we've gotta have faith in Orsini to make a level playing field. Hopefully bigdaddy's and stangdad's concerns are corrected - we all know problems exist but don't you think a program like Navy has MUCH tougher entrance requirements? Not just academic but other standards like vision, background checks, etc...Bennett had weaknesses in gameday preparation, I don't know how you guys can defend him there. These shots going back and forth are stupid and frankly not productive.

The kids who stay will find that they enjoy a coach who readies them for games and puts them in position to win. Good luck to those who transfer, if they're not committed to the program they need to go. They're not making a good decision if they make up their mind to go before they see who the new coach is

I am not the enemy just because I call it like I see it. I go to games and support the team. I, like many others, use this forum to express our dissatisfaction with the losing. Again, reveal the names of the so-called transfers or are you too scared? You say you never went to SMU so you probably are some sort of coach. I went to SMU and have gone to games and supported the team through many years of losing seasons so I have every right to complain. Again, reveal the players or are you too scared? Like I said nothing but rumors and crap. By the way, every team has players that transfer for one reason or another so if a player or players happen to transfer then so be it. It is not like it has not happened at SMU before. Next topic: new coach?
