I think he spends a year out of the game, collects his buyout, then goes back to coach with his brother. Or, I think he could get any DC job at a BCS school.

not a guy who hasn't proven a thing. He needs to get a new gig as soon as possible if he wants another shot.

I am just saying, put him on payroll. Then have him hit up the brother for the not quite good enoughs!

i dont think he has proven a thing as a head coach. might be one of the best defensive coaches and recruiters in college football, but as a head coach, running a program.....not so much

just wanted to clarify that I was not taking a dump on mike stoops, just mike stoops as a head coach

Mike Stoops is a bad head coach. For all the amazing recruiting he's done there he has nothing to show for it. Not even a huge winning season.

Glad this thread sparked so much discussion.
