That's the great thing-I'm not running for Mustang Club Sargeant-In-Arms-so I could care less what people want or need to feel good about SMU's pathetic past. It is well documented that Bennett has pushed through a series of changes in the SMU Model under both Copeland and Orsini. You are factually wrong-but keep babbling.

I'm not arguing that Bennett wanted SMU to make his recruiting job easier. What the hell kinda point does that make? EVERYBODY wants success to be easier for them to achieve. Bennett said two opposite things: "I have what I needed"/"I didn't have what I needed". You choose to believe the latter. I/Orsini believe the former, although I think we'd both agree that there are shades of truth in the latter.

Read it again, slowly. Bennett not only has wanted changes from Year 1 there have been changes since Year 1 and there are still changes to be made. Under both Copeland and Orsini. Can you read?

Do you feed on insulting people in some significant way? Ok. Bennett wanted changed in year one. I've never had any doubt of that. Ok. SMU gave him instit. changes in year one. Good, that shows they trusted Phil enough to change its institutions to accommodate him. Phil said/didn't say he had already gotten what he needed to get to a bowl last year and this. I can see reasons for Phil to bold-face lie on both sides. Based on what I saw on the field/experience, I'm more willing to believe that many competent coaches could have coached SMU to a bowl game this year and last than the fact that SMU couldn't foster winning players. That's where I stand. You obviously disagree. No need to dole out mental capacity assessments on anyone...everyone.
