With Barnett going so public about his interest, does that imply that he's lobbying for the job and is a long shot candidate? He told the Plano firm he's interested. Why not keep it on the down low?

Probably to let others who will be looking for new coaches know he's wanting to get back in.

In fact, I here everyone on Orsini's list has expressed some interest..... My choices #1. Terry Bowden, #2. Gary Barnett, #3.( one of the top 10 Coaches in Div 1) [deleted] Tomey, [deleted] Tomey ? Yea, that's right.... think about his record from Hawaii winner to Arizona winner, strong record there, to assistant head coach at Texas for national championship in 2005 to San Jose State 8-4 bowl winner last year. San Jose was 1-10 the year before he got there. #4 Glen Mason.
