They have a Tavern here in San Diego, in fact I was there earlier today. They also have one in Tempe. Is there one in Austin, or were you using a generic term for bar?

They still advertise it as such.

The Tavern. Air Conditioned.

There are other sports bars in Austin... but it's the only one that feels Austin.

Ringers is a decent sports bar, but it's much more Dallas (which isn't suprising given the rooting tendencies of the owners). It's great to see any game you want. But it's way over priced and high on the shiny shirt factor.

Tavern all the way (though it's not "cheap" either).

Anyway, what radio station is carrying the game? I'm bummed that The Ticket is carrying the 'Boys, so this game is relegated to 1560 or some other station that probably powers down after sunset.

UH has the #2 ranked offense AND defense in C-USA. SMU's offense is ranked #7 and defense is ranked #10.
