100% graduation rate

Postby EastStang » Mon Nov 05, 2007 9:04 am

Did anyone notice Curry saying that he knew several coaches who got fired the year after they got the award for having a 100% graduation rate? Phil Bennett welcome to a very special club.

By the way, did anyone also notice the comment about Aldridge having to sit for a year because of grades? But he's just the type of player who should be admitted to SMU according to Stallion. The irony was not missed. A game changer who can't stay in school, doesn't do you much good, does it?

Seems to have worked out fine last night and in last year's game, too.

I say let the coach recruit who he wants, just hold him accountable for the kids' education.

A graduation rate for football players in-line with the university as a whole would not be the worst thing in the world.

I caved and watched some of the game.

Anybody hear Bill Curry's comments about J-Will's turnovers?

Do you think Bennett would have minded having a lower graduation rate and more wins?
