I agree...considering the capability of Alridge, we kept him pretty well contained. A lot of tackles behind the line or at the line of scrimmage. Yeah, he got past us a couple of times and made us pay, but all in all, our run defense was probably the best it's been this year.
And oh by the way Stall, I don't know what exactly your problem is with Zach Sledge, but he had two really nice TD's tonight.
I would think the focus of his recruiting would be a couple of things: Emphasis on the OL/DL Physical WR who get off press coverage Stonger cover corners
Where is Derrius Bell? And did Bailey play tonight? Heard he was hurt.
Derrius is waiting patiently until next year so that he can show his abilities. This year they're afraid he'll get burnt on a big play and want be able to recover from it. lol :roll:
He's played this position since he was in the boy's club leaque and corners give up big plays sometimes that's why they have to have a short term memory.
I tell him daily just pray and wait your turn it'll come. He has big heart great ability he has a 33 inch vertical. All his previous High School coaches say he works hard, and that you're not going to out work him on the field and in the weigh room and he has the hate to lose attitude, and he's attended 3 different high schools so that was stated by lots of coaches. We've always gotten nothing but good things said about this boys character. Only thing he hates is degradation.
