we would not be interested in a former NFL coach who has at success at Georgia Tech?

We can always bring back "Football Half the Way" if Chan is hired.

To be fair, Gailey did go to the playoffs both years with the Cowboys, albeit one year at 8-8.

He's not necessarily on my top 5, but maybe worth a look. He's done alright at a school with high academic standards (at least for the student population as a whole--I admit I don't know if there are "athletic friendly" majors available at GT).
