If Fran is hired, how long before he moves on to bigger and better? Or does anyone think he is willing to stay put for a long time?

Ha! When he was at TCU he informed just about anyone who would listen that he would be coaching on Sundays soon. The guy is only looking out for the next step up. He'd be a disaster!

you mean a bigger disaster that Bennet's 18 wins in 6 seasons.
If he came here, went 8-4, stockpiled our talent, and went to a bowl game, he could take a dump on my front lawn for all I care.

Did subscribers earn complimentary gift cards to Sonic and coupons to buy Cheer?

That is my concern...I would think someone willing to build the program and get 8-10 years. Not sure if thats a pipe dream, but...we need stability.

True, then you could give it to MM65, and he could sell it on ebay.

I love it when history repeats itself...
Q. What Hall of Fame Football coach was head man at TCU, fired by the Aggies, and led SMU to national greatness?
Class of '91

the punisment for the HIPAA violation that occured in the newsletter would be an a and m violation. it would not follow franchione to smu. it would be a very similar situation to kelvin sampson accepting the university of indiana basketball job on the back end of a recruiting violation concerning phone calls/text messages. franchiones contract would have verbage stipulating if he was "sanctioned" smu would have total right of termination. i also was told that sony dykes will be contacted about the OC position if arizona grants the visit.

n 1998, Franchione became the head coach at TCU and promptly turned their fortunes around, going from 1-10 the year before to 7-5 and a berth in the Sun Bowl, where the Horned Frogs defeated Southern California and set the record for least rushing yards allowed in a bowl game.
