Just read the PF.com preview on the home page. :thumbupcool:
One question: where's Tyson Thompson? Coming out of Irving HS, he signed with TCU and they made it sound like they'd landed the best RB in the country. Then he took a JUCO detour, and when he signed with San Jose State, they also touted him as the second coming. But he's not mentioned in the preview, and a quick peek at the SJSU stats doesn't have him listed for a single carry or reception this year. Is he hurt? Is he still in school?
Nice preview, guys - as always!

Re: San Jose State
Notes from last year, that need to change Saturday:
Tate Wallis threw for 70 yards.
No SMU receiver had more than two receptions.
SMU fumbled four times (although the Ponies lost just one).
Spartan DE Philip Perry sealed the win for San Jose State with a 33-yard return of an interception for a touchdown with 2:38 remaining.

Re: San Jose State
last I heard from a San Jose St. fan on the WAC Forum(a couple of weeks ago) was that Tyson Thompson had not been cleared to play at SJSU this year and that he might have to wait until next year to play.
