Bergermeister have you eaten at the new Goff's at Preston & LBJ?

They have some neat SMU pictures on the wall.

Tuesday night = HALF PRICED BURGERS!

And no Harvey is not there.....Harvey is retired!

Just because you can't see Harvey doesn't mean he is not there.

I have NOT eaten there. Wasn't there a Goff's in that general vicinity years ago? I know there were several around Dallas including one in Irving on Hwy. 356. I'll have to check it out. Thanks for the heads up.

Considering the statuary, it's probably more like Hamburger Commie.

I believe there were several Goff's in Dallas at one time.

Besides the Goffs on Lovers/Tollway, there was a Goffs on
Greenville Avenue near SMU and I think there was a Goffs at
Forest Lane/Marsh in the 1960's/early 70's. There were possibly
a few more locations.

The new Goffs on the southwest corner of LBJ/Preston
even has the same red brick around the grill. And
yes when you get your change they still give those
silly 50 cent pieces.

One time I was at the Goff's on Lovers and some lady at
the drive-thru asked for Ketchup after Harvey handed her her food.
Harvey screamed "NO KETCHUP ON TUESDAY!" and slammed
the drive-thru window shut.

Another time Harvey refused to serve a guy because
he was wearing an ear-ring. The guy removed the ear ring
and Harvey said "can I take your order?".

We even had one in Fort Worth, and there was one in Arlington.

I guess Cervantes from the soccer team might have had a tough time getting seated back in the day.
