Can you catch Stallion????

I thought it was time to provide a little mathematical analysis of Stallion's posts as he reaches the 10,000 plateau.

He has been a PF'er since 12/19/2000 and currently has 9,890 posts. So, as of 11/07/2007, which is a time span of 2,478 days, he has averaged 3.99 posts per day. This is quite impressive.

I think it is appropriate to modify a favorite quote around here:

"Stallion has forgotten about more posts than you will ever post!"

Now, you might be saying, "I can catch that cantankerous fool!!" So for all those that wish to calculate how many posts you would need to make on a daily basis to catch Stallion, I provide the following formula:

No. of Stallion's Posts - No. of Your Posts
---------------------------------------------------------------------
(No. of Years in which you want to catch Stallion) X 365

So, to use myself as an example:

9890 - 203
---------------------------------- = 26.53973 Posts per day
1 X 365

Obviously, you would need to recalculate quite often, but, it can be achieved, you just need a good plan and some typing skills!

Stallion didn't post here consistently for a long time. I forget when the old MustangManiacs board failed, but that was when he started posting here.

I've been at this for 5 years and expony 18 and pony94 are working hard to catch up. If a thread gets deleted do you still get credit for the posts up to the moment of deletion? I figure Stallion can start derailing threads to hold off these young brigands.

My man Stallion's got better things to do, like trying to figure out how SMU can improve it's "model"
