David Bailiff...former Texas State - San Marcos (formerly Southwest Texas State University) coach who blew the opportunity two years ago to advance the Bobcats in the Div. 1 FCS playoffs with a loss to Northern Iowa. With more than a minute remaining in the game and the score tied, the Bobcats had the ball near midfield. Their offense had been doing great most of the game but Bailiff ordered his QB to take a knee on consecutive downs to run out the clock and take the game into OT. Northern Iowa won the game in OT. Bailiff was literally booed out of Bobcat Stadium by the TSU-SM faithful for botching the opportunity to advance his team in the playoffs and the opportunity to play for the national championship.
