After looking at the schedule, it's time to lay down what we think will happen this year. I'll start.
Overall: 16-14
CUSA record: 5-11 (lose in opening round of the tournament)
Figure we'll go 11-2 in non-conference with losses to Dayton and Colorado.
We should bump this thread in February.

There's no way we should lose more than 3 non-conf. games. That being said, I expect another tough year in conference.

Speaking of freshmen, have you seen the highlites of the guy at Memphis. He is something else. Love to see someone of his caliber at Moody on a regular basis. Too bad they will only have him for one year.

In Kate's men's BB preview, she had Mike Walker in the lead asking Doherty if something was right.
What a great kid!!! He wants to do the right thing and will work hard to get it done.
Think Mike Walker. Think Mike Walker. Think Mike Walker.

While it's great to have a kid who follows the coach's instructions, he needs to grasp the offense and soon. Can't look over at the coach during the season, interrupts the flow if the game. I have faith that he'll be a good player for us.

My socks stink and so will our won/loss record this year. I expect 7-5 non conference while we figure things out, and then 6-10 in conference play while we learn. We'll then win 2 games in the tournament. So, we end up 15-16 for the year.

Memphis is the real deal. They will be the most talented team we have faced in a LONG time. IMO, Derrick Rose is the best freshman in the country. He is a one and done lottery pick. If you’re a basketball fan, you want to be at Moody on 3/5, because it’s not very often you get a college team of this caliber rolling through Dallas.

That's great, and he is a great talent.
But let's have your prediction on the SMU men's basketball season.
