just for clarification-nobody did over look Aldridge-he was given close looks by most of the top programs. 3 Star. Some didn't offer but then again when you are taking your SAT 2 weeks before signing date that's not really a shock. As for Reesing its really easy to "take the field" of over 3,000 high school signees amd 10,000 prospects each year then when he turns out to be a great player conclude see those recruiting services don't know what they are talking about. Well the Coaches missed too. You could probably find a couple of thousand players like that who didn't make. I don't really respond to retroactive recruiting brillance. If you had spotted the brillance of Reesing when he was a Senior then you got bragging rights.

Kid was rated 3 stars, 5.5 by the system so I fail to see where the "retroactive recruiting brilliance" comment is justified! Also, he was Texas 4A player of the year, which might have been some indication of his ability? KU, a BCS school, did NOT overlook him. Maybe that is why they are 8-0 and we are 1-7?

Braden Smith was 11-13-0 for 195 yards passing and 1 carry for 10 yards rushing in Rockwall's 48-20 defeat of Sachse last night. 8)
