... is this still going on? Hipster Dallasites out there? Any of you know?

If so, I'm coming in Thursday night for the weekend's festivities, and that's where I'll be.

You folks ain't heard Doo Wah Diddy 'til you've heard the 2 Live Crew version. And, honestly, I'm not even joking.... I can't even quote any of the lyrics, as they are ALL offensive.

ThadFilms: According to the Meridian Room website, scaraoke still takes place on Thursday nights but it doesn't begin until 10:30 or 11 p.m.!

I went to the MR one night (was already drunk from the Amsterdam), and did Margaritaville with a good buddy of mine. I think it pissed everyone in the bar off.
