Have you ever played these guys? I wouldn't mock them...they are tougher than you might think. They nearly killed my brother-in-law's entire high school team a few years ago.
Secondly, after the game last night I overheard some goofy student trying to impress his girlfriend by telling her this is why we need to dump football and put "more money into the sports SMU is actually good at. Like men's soccer and tennis." I really wanted to sit him down and explain about revenue and non-revenue sports.

I am sure he knows something about it. Dating is definitely a nonrevenue sport for a man.
I agree. SMU needs to kick dorks like that out. I could care less if we are number one in soccer. By the way, you should have hit that kid in the throat

It's hard to do when you are tring to explain sportsmanship to your kid.
I agree, and the only way to get revenue is to (besides winning) start playing games of relevance i.e. Texas/LSU. The Rumble in the Jungle wouldn't have sold a ticket had it been Ali v. nobody.
