Had I not been working, I'd have been there. Thanks for noticing my absence. What a statement: a non-SMU alum/fan being called out for not attending an SMU sporting event. Wanna point a finger at the thousands of SMU alums who live in the Dallas area who weren't in attendance?

As I said in another post, I didn't expect many fans to this game given the conflict with the Cowboy's game. In addition, there may be some burn-out after watching the girl's lose, the boy's lose, and the football team lose this weekend. Plus its a work night for those not in government or the financial industry. Those workers get to celebrate Veteran's Day tomorrow.

I was at the TX Stampede at AAC and it wasn't a great crowd there either. Cowboys overlap. Too bad about the early season start. I'm looking forward to my first SMU hoops game of the year, and it seems like I need to catch the ladies because they may be in position for a strong conference title run if Friday night was any indication.
