On 4th and short they knew it would be KK. Guess what? So did everybody else in the country. Any other play would have scored a TD. A bootleg, a simple end around, a quick slant. Anything. First 9 plays--all runs. 69 net rushing yards. Folks, it doesn't get much worse than this but then again we haven't played Boise or TCU yet. Hide tannings coming up. I can't believe even Tulsa is going to beat us, and probably bad. I never thought I would see that.

Nacho, Johnny competely agrees. Why run a play that the entire defense is looking for? A bootleg, quick screen pass, or hell even a slant for a TD would have been nice to see even if it did not work. Johnny is sick and tired of SMU running the same damn play to the same damn player.
