Why don't we just hire Jesus as his OC since you are dreaming. If we hire him, I'll buy you a beer.

To Hades with that idea. Jesus is one of those 'turn the other cheek' kind of coaches. We need a real demon that wants to hit people the first time and never let up. We what someone that is willing to burn 'em deep.
Now I will give Jesus credit as he demands that his players drink his blood. Now that takes real dedication. But other than that, Jesus is just too passive for our next OC.

I don't know, as you can see here, Jesus is willing to get out there in practice and actually teach technique:

I understand he likes to use the pearly gate formation on PAT's.

If he can calm the storm, do you think he'd be able to slow down opponents' pass rush?

while i think that schottenheimer would be completely ridiculous, why can we realistically not just raise a boatload of money and pay a coach an absurd amount of money and draw someone here who wouldn't otherwise have come. i feel like if we could somehow offer a multimillion dollar contract we could bring someone great in.

OK Marty is coming to Dallas. Does he have any connection to Dallas or SMU?

As much as I think that there is no way that Marty would take this job, Dallas does have a lot of Hooter's restaurants, and folks from Kansas City know how much he liked them (and their waitresses) when he was the head coach of the Chiefs. If we hired him, that would be the end of the forward pass on the Hilltop, but he is a defensive genius, so if we were to win a bunch of games 9-6, I guess I wouldn't complain. Maybe he could bring his OC son along as well.
Don't think it is going to happen, however.

For once, he'd feel like he was in control. He couldn't get that at Washington or San Diego. Here, he can get the players he wants (not players the owner wants him to have), and can coach them the way he wants, and can hire whomever he wants to hire within a budget. This would be nirvanna for the General, as Redskins fans called him.
