Absolutely. Ucla fans are sick and tired of being the after-thought team in LA for 7 years. Ucla fans have never felt too happy about Dorrell's hiring and if he can't beat Oregon or USC (final 2 games) he will definitely be out since they only have 5 wins right now.

For Ucla, I've only heard Petersen from Boise St. and Bronco Mendenhall from BYU as replacements, and there is another rumor that Leach might be a good fit for the Bruins. Ucla fans are also interested in Neuheisel.
GO MUSTANGS!

FIGHT ON!

With Bowden saying no to SMU, and SMU saying no to Barnett, I ask you, what "big hire" are you people going to pop off about next? Seriously, several coaching jobs are about to open up and the advantage SMU gave itself by firing Bennett with 4 games to go is drying up.

Who said that Bowden said "no" to SMU? I hadn't heard that before.

Is that Edwin L Cox JUNIOR? The b school benefactor died awhile back, right? BTW, legend has it that Edwin Sr's wife and/or widow was asked by DCC if they could buy her property, legend goes she said no but said anytime they want to sell her some land she'd be interested in buying.

Edwin L. Cox just gave $5 million on 10-29-07 to SMU!

Glenn Mason will not be hired by UCLA. UCLA has been a .500 team under Dorrell. They are not going to replace him with a coach who was .500 at Minnesota.
