HA HA. I also believe we have wasted the talent of McKinney. He should never leave the field, unless injured. I love Charlie, hug him everytime I see him, but SMU screwed him football wise! He should be our starting MLB after Reggie QUIT! Charlie is to slow, but he will hit your [deleted]. McCray and the country black boy could have played the outsides. Charlie went to school a Highland Park, he can pick up anything.

I didn’t want to come back, but complete ignorance compels me. Charlie is bigger than I was at anytime during my playing career. Many of the posters on this board forget that you used to criticize me for being too small. You all gladly changed you tone when I was second on the team in tackles and playing right in there with everyone else my sophomore year at a whopping 235lbs. And that was at the beginning of the season. I like Charlie. He is a good kid and a good player who has a lot of emotion on the field. I would take his attitude over half the guys on the team. Sure he might get a 15yd penalty every now and then, but $#!+, at least he cares. And done.

DT right??? why in world would you move a kid who played DT at the high school level to LB at the College level??? that does not even make sense!!! if he is too slow in HS, probably why his hand is on the ground like mine was, don't think just cause he drops to 235 he is going to gain enough speed to cover a back out of the backfield!? get real... that said, I love the way the kid plays, and he seems to have a big heart, i am sure he is every bit of 280..

God Lord, does anybody on this board know anything about football. DL in HS play LB and DE in college. Linebackers and some DE in HS play DB in college. RB in high school play recievers and DB in college. QB's in HS play receiver, running back and DB in college. It happens everywhere but here, because we don't have the talent to run a real football team. One day we will and you will see how a real football team operates. Charlie has never been in the right shape, as most players on this team. Vic is here now............

AGAIN . . . if they are fast enough, sure, move a DE to LB . . . but do you really think Charlie can cover a back out of the backfield?? even at 225? even if he were to loose 55 lbs!!! it is amazing how many players stay at the same position they were recruited at as well . . . probably over 90%! you are talking about a very few players who make any transition to a new position in college. I have been around this game a long time, seen people try and make the transition, played at a high level, don't question my knowledge of this game or SMU football. . . . I don't care who you think you are. You are quickly becoming part of the problem...
