Midseason firings are always harder on the fans than it is for the players i think

ok fine, youre right about that indeed...but to do it that way, the recruits atleast know that were going in different directions.

Orsini isn't Copeland. I personally have been very impressed with his acumen since he has taken the position and doubt whether Turner could have made a better hire. He sees the potential of the school and has been very enthusiastic in selling that potential to the local community, donors, etc. He has set high standards by demanding that all programs have the goal of being "top 25" and has gotten the big money to "Pony Up". I feel confident that his hire will ultimately be as good as anyone can expect especially given the circumstances.

Hey I agree Orsini is 10000x better than Copeland. I'm just getting tired of waiting for him to pull a rabbit out of his hat

Rome wasn't built in a day and this is an important hire. I suspect he has had his man for some time now, but I'm sure that he will wait until after the last game before revealing the new coach. It should happen quickly after that because recruiting doesn't stop and wasted time could cost the new coach some potential recruits.
