Petrino + Major Cheating is why Louisville had some success over the past several years. Krackhead Kraiginthorpe is a joke. If SMU wants that garbage coach he need only offer him $50,000 and free use of the freshmen cafateria.

Well it would be a solid hire, but I wouldn't call it some amazing splash. One year at a BCS school makes him just barely a BCS coach.

I think the whole "rumor mill" statement is a red herring. Krapthorpe doesn't strike me as an Orsini type hire. None of the names you have come up with that fit the profile thrown out there are Orsini type hires. Why would anybody that really knows what is going on relative to who Orsini wants to hire even be talking to this rumor mill site guy? Don't go jumping off of any buildings until the bad news...if any...comes from the horse's mouth.

Sorry, After Bennett, no more coaches with CHEESE [deleted] facial hair. BY THE WAY: DOES HE HAVE ANY RECRUITING EXPERIENCE: NO!!!!!!!!!!
WHEN WILL YOU @SSHOLES REALIZE THAT RECRUITING IS SOMEWHAT IMPORTANT IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL.

well its wouldn't be a BIG SPLASH-and Graham is the recruiter behind the Tulsa program but as far as one of the brightest offensive minds in the game Kragthorpe is an outstanding offensive mind-probably better than 95% on our mythical list. Graham is a defensive Coach-Tulsa has won with offense. Note Louisville is still very strong offensively.

Seriously, Krapthorpe has proven at the Division 1A Level that he is an outstanding offensive Coach-he is the coordinator who called plays I do believe at Tulsa-probably at Louisville. Impeccable reputation on offense. check his record. Go spend some money on a defensive coordinator. I really don't think we could find a better offensive Coach-not sure of the Total package. Maybe a tad better-a little-than I thought we might get stuck with.

Stealing a coach away from a BCS program that just signed him the year before is a homerun in my book. Especially when you consider who is doing the stealing. Plus he had a great deal of success at Tulsa, the CUSA school that would most compare to SMU I would guess.

Will Steve Kragthorpe be SMU's next head football coach?

The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?
Good, Bad...I'm the one with the gun.
