Well I would say that if the deal is off if the word leaks out, then the deal is off if it is Kragthorpe. This is exciting if nothing else. Beats just rehashing the latest defeat.

This I don't get. If the top coaching candidate, whoever he is, can't have a leak then doesn't that imply that his current team wants him to stick around?

Makes no mind to me but if we are to believe the first half of the rumor we should be willing to believe all of the rumor.

That's why you're a super legend and I'm a mere heisman.
You're right. This is fun stuff.

My Question is why would Kragthorpe want to leave Louisville to go to SMU? I know the fans are "disenchanted" but I wouldn't leave a BCS school like Louisville to go to SMU until they booted me out. And I love SMU.
What's his motivation? Money? Family reasons? What? Because it sure isn't an upgrade in stature.
Here's to those that wish us well and all the rest can go to hell!!!

Sorry Mustang Fans, Kragthorpe is not coming to SMU.
He is under contract, SMU can't afford to buy him out, and it would be a step down.

Didn't the rumor mill confirm that the CIA worked with Castro to kill Kennedy and use Oswald as the fall guy?

Assuming Orsini has his man, when does he make the announcement? November 25?

From his bio: Gill, a native of Fort Worth, TX, was the starting quarterback at Nebraska from 1981-83 and led the team to a No. 2 and No. 3 national ranking. Overall, Nebraska teams had a 28-2 overall record with Gill as the starting quarterback and a 20-0 record in Big Eight conference play. He is the 12th winningest QB in NCAA Div. I history. He received his bachelor's degree in Behavior Analysis from the University of North Texas in 1990.
