Bowden News

Talked to a girl who works in the SMU athletic office. She said Bowden has been in communication with Orsini and that faxes between the two have been exchanged on a daily basis. Could be good, could be bad.

My best friend's sister's boyfriend's brother's girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who's going with the girl who saw Ferris pass out at 31 Flavors last night. I guess it's pretty serious.

Allow me to impersonate Lt. Frank Drebbin:

If you like Bowden it would be good. Means there is hardcopy being exchanged rather than just phone calls.

What could they be faxing back and forth that could possibly be bad?

[Orsini] "Be our coach?"
[T. Bowden] "No."
[Orsini] "Please?"
[T. Bowden] "No."
[Orsini] "Pretty Pretty Please?"
[T. Bowden] "No."
[Orsini] "I'll give you a million dollars...and have you seen our co-eds?"
[T. Bowden] "Hmmm....wait....still no."

I think they could have that conversation over the phone.

Exactly my point. If it is true and they are faxing back and forth...it probably means they're negotiating/getting somewhere. It's hard to see any negative communication coming from that situation. Nobody takes the time to repeatedly fax flat-out refusals.

If they are faxing, I would ask them both why they are stuck in 1983.

Faxes? What do neither of them have email? If it is of a legal matter, wouldnt email be preferred??

I agree. Faxing seems archaic...I'm just referring back the the given info. and the "could be bad" part.

Actually, I also heard that Bowden told Orsini that he prefers carrier pigeon. He sent him that message by western union telegraph

This explains why Orsini was last seen in his office wearing acid washed jeans and a members only jacket while rocking out to Huey Lewis and the News.
