In the fictional DC Universe, Smallville is in Kansas. And, yes...its high school is about the equivalent of a 3A school in Texas. Not sure what kind of relationship Supes has with Texas HS coaches.

This thread has made me incredibly happy. I do suffer from "Superman Syndrome." I hope that we can find a coach that will come in here and "save the day." But, I will settle for Superboy, Supergirl, Krypto the Superdog, Comet the Superhorse, or anybody that can at least give us a winning record.

George O'Leary's comments about Steve Orsini getting things rolling at UCF...."There were a lot of people taking shots out there, saying 'we can't do that stuff.' He stuck to his guns, and that tells me a lot about a man."
