HATE THEM!!! Honesly, if you haven't seen the uppity self righteous CRAP they're spurting over at killerfrogs about our joining the CUSA, go look at it. Actually, instead, do something more constructive, like poke yourself in the eye with a pencil.

I enjoy TCU's success immensely every week except when they play SMU because it proves without a shadow of a doubt what SMU could accomplish if they truly had a COMMITMENT to compete on an equal playing field-it completely exposes the ineptitude of SMU's Model. So thank you Froggies for pissin' enough SMU fans off that sooner or later they might actually have to do something about it. Keep up the good work.

You know, that is funny over there! You'd think those morons were supports of Miami or Oklahoma, the way they talk. (And, just to lend an element of "legitimacy" to their claims, they have a top 25 poll on their site - done BY the administrators of the site. Want proof the site's a joke? They voted the little froggies #11 in the nation!

Here's what gets me: they're ranting and raving that the sky's falling because we might join their precious conference. They're acting like our guys don't deserve to be on the field with them, except to carry their water bottles or something. What they're overlooking is EVIDENCE: the all-time series between the teams is TIED! 38-38-7. Can't get much more equal than that.

It looks like SMU is getting a taste of their own medicine. SMU fans have acted this way towards UNT for a long time. How does it feel being on the other side?

Playing SMU is no worse than playing Army whose place we shall be taking. To TCU's credit they did what SMU should be doing. Their arrogance will help fuel the conference rivalries to come. Besides, the Frogs are overlooking what a good job the new coach at UH has done. They may be getting a dose of humility from the Coogs very soon. And SMU will not always be down. Guess we can be insufferable in good time outselves.

TCU fans are hilarious. They think they're Notre Dame South or something. I've never seen fans with such an inferiorty complex. TCU has a great team and half the country knows they have a great team.But they always [deleted] about something whether its SMU bringing down their SOS, or Craig James saying their team is going to lose at USF. The next day its not getting enough press, or "The US News rankings does'nt have us ranked hidgh enough" Or "We've one two national champioships football" SMU didn't win that one in 1935" They get caught up in minutae. Its still pretty funny that SMU gets more press than the horned frogs.

Wouldn't you be upset if we were in a conference that just invited a rival who was 0-6? I would. TCU sees th9is as a weakening of CUSA. IT IS. The departing schools are better in athletics than the joining ones. Put yourselves in their place. We lucked out. TCU has spent the money and made the commitment. We haven't. Why do we deserve to be with them in a conference? Chnaging conferences doesn't cahnge anything except we don't have to travel as far to lose and New Orleans is more fun than Fresno. Otherwise, same ole same ole for our teams. No better competition, no better record.

The TCU fans have every right to be pissed, and it should start with their Conference commissioner. Its pretty obvious at this stage that Britton Banowsky has other agendas aside from the success of the conference he is supposed to be administrating. Everything he’s done up to this point has been to assure that the Big East raid on his conference goes as smoothly as possible, and that the raiders got exactly what they wanted to take. No one has heard a single word of protest from Banowsky as another conference has made public plans to steal everything of any value out of his house. C-USA may even temporarily lose its auto bid to the NCAA tournament, if all the teams rumored to be departing actually do. Compare that to the histrionics and lawsuits that came out of the Big East office a few months ago. To smooth the transitition, he’s ready to invite a group of replacements, before his are even officially invited to leave. If I were a C-USA president or athletic director, I’d have serious questions about whose Banowsky was actually serving, and wether he might be drawing a second paycheck. When the SWC broke up, many people said that the conference commissioner had been hand picked by UT and A&M to manage the successful breakup of the conference. I really wonder if Britton Banowsky is now on the Big Easts payroll.
The agenda Banowsky appears to be pushing is to stack all the available small private schools with weak programs, small fan bases and serious budget problems in an out of the way pocket so its easier to ignore them. Someplace where they wont compete for TV viewership or fan attendance that might otherwise go to the larger schools. For all those small schools, the best way to bring recognition to your program is play the larger names, and now that just got a littlee more difficult.

Another things I've noticed about their posts is there spelling problems. Honestly, I understand there being a few mistakes, but honestly, I have a hard time comprehending what the hell they're trying to say. Like the above post, seriously, sometimes I'm like "What does that MEAN?"
But of course, as usual, if we were to respond to this nonsense, they'd label us the "Classless fans" like they always due. Take no notice to the fact that they LOVE to bring RUDE posters and throw **** at the band. Seriously, they're like arguing with a brick wall. A brick wall that's [deleted]!

As usual, you make some good points. My question to you, what real authority does Banowsky have? Aren’t the schools’ Presidents deciding membership and litigation issues and Banowsky is merely implementing them?

As a far-away spectator, I view the lack of rancor positively, hopefully there is unanimity among the schools.

And for all those C-USAers complaining about our football program, remember that we have something you don’t….the top rated non-BCS recruiting class for 2003. I’m sure Zach, Richuel, Justin, Desmond, Avery and friends will be glad to settle this non-sense on the field.
