One of my fellow mgrs at work is an ECU grad...asked what the chances were that SMU could beat UCF (ECU needs UCF to lose one for the Pirates to make the CUSA championship game). My response was "at least you will qualify for a bowl game", but deep down I was hoping we had one good game left in us.
Bennett has that ugly 0-12 on his record and appears he wil be going out with a 1-11 finale. At least I made a good choice for my annual football trip this year...actually saw the guys avenge that humiliating UNT loss

That being said, I would have rather lost that game and win all of the other ones.

No, but it ranks up there with some of the blowouts we experienced under Cavan. This is not the worst of the Bennett era because UCF might be the best team in CUSA this year. Remember, Bennett has the loss to UNT (the 4th in school history) and that unforgetable opener against Navy
