To Those Left Behind

In our glee to flee the WAC, let us remember the plight of those who may be left behind. La Tech and UTEP are respectable programs and will be quite isolated in what remains of the WAC. Of course UNT could move into their company, which would be the step up for the mean green that they are seeking. Everyone is trying to better themselves, that is to be expected. Some win, some lose. If this is the occasion that SMU wins, I regret being part of a college reschuffling system that is causing so much loss for others.

It appears, not to count chickens, that if we do go to CUSA it is with fellow conference members Rice and Tulsa, and that our interest has been above board for some time. Compare that to other surprise realignments and you can sleep at night.
