Centenary had and played as many freshmen as SMU did. Their freshmen outplayed ours hands down. They also did have two juco transfers who played very tough. We had no toughness. Except for Paulus Ritter, they took our lunch money. It was really bad folks. I cant even believe it.

In all three games so far, the opposition gets open looks without any trouble at all, and we don't. Period. Any time we do, we put the ball on the floor. Bamba's number of blocks equals the number of times I've seen him watch a guy go in front of him and get a rebound.

We have a way of giving the opposition confidence.

It seemed to me that their guys got open loods because our guys were trying to double team alot. It appeared to me that our guys were hustling and Centenary hit a bunch of open shots. Give these young kids time. Also there 3 leading scorers were all Juniors so to say that there freshman outplayed ours might be a stretch. There freshman were in there with some guys who had a little experience.

Doh mentioned last week that too many guys who are NOT shotblockers got caught trying to block shots. Happened several times to Roberts, who left his feet to a head and shoulder fake.

Kwiat also should know if he's a 7 footer, there's no need for him to leave his feet when a guy six inches shorter is taking a shot....or faking a shot.

Kwiat will learn that in time. These freshman need alot of playing time to learn, it is a whole different ball game in college than high school even if you are playing Centenary. We are only going to get better.

Be hard not to. But I'm afraid I'm out of reasons for cajoling my wife to come to a game. Tonight's was, "but come on...we're gonna win this time...Centenary sucks!" Her response : "you said that about Southern..." My response "but Centenary really does suck!"

No idea whatsoever I'm gonna use next time.
