Who would you choose as WAC coach of the year? I have to agree with this writer. As for most disappointing I have to pick SMU.

Not so fast, my friend!
Kragthorpe has done a nice job at Tulsa, but until someone beats Boise State, doesn't Coach Hawkins have to be the top coach? He hasn't lost a WAC game this year and went a perfect 8-0 last year. Hard to argue with that kind of success.

True, but Tulsa was 1-11 last year. What their new coach has done is astounding. Parcells will probably be named coach of the year in the NFL. Coach of the Year is all about turnarounds.

Well, sure. The first year SMU goes better than .500 under him (which I believe will happen), he'll undoubtedly be somebody's coach of the year.
