We are at a critical time in SMU sports' history. We are at a crossroads. If we get into C-USA, we will greatly improve our standing in football and basketball. If we get left out again, we might as well turn out the lights. We can try to affect C-USA's decision by showing up and supporting SMU this weekend at the Boise St. game. The greater the attendence, the greater the chances that C-USA might take a chance on us. I know it's tough watching our team get beat every week, but let's make this week an excuse to show pride in our school, let's show the adminstration that we're behind them on this C-USA deal, and let's show our young team that we're still behind them.

Will it really improve Basketball? C-USA is losing most of the great BBALL schools to the Big East.

I can only think of Memphis.
