I think it's been blue for the past 20 years. Hopefully, we'll get to change that.
I blame it all on third down thunder.

Two of the worst ideas in the history of our once storied program. Just how sad is third down thunder. It's beyond sad.
If that is beyond sad, what is Third Down Thunder BROUGHT TO YOU BY MUSTANG REALTY?

Here what you are saying.
I would love to see the economics behind:
Third Down Thunder BROUGHT TO YOU BY MUSTANG REALTY

So maybe we could take up a collection and pay them not to do it?

I'd fork over a little for a sound byte that didn't sound like it came from a horse breeding stable

Ok... They pay us money to put their name on our Third Down Thunder thing, so we take their money and put it on there. The End. Athletic Department gets money, they get publicity.
Not really a hard concept to grasp. Hope that helped.

Maybe we will get it right this time which will enable us to put a product on the field that will generate revenue through ticket sales.

"THIRD DOWN THUNDER has been suppressed for you today by PonyFans"
sounds like my favorite Marx Brothers quote from Animal Crackers:
Spaulding: What do you fellas get an hour?
Ravelli: For playing, we get-a ten dollars an hour.
Spaulding: I see. What do you get for not playing?
Ravelli: Twelve dollars an hour.
Spaulding: Well, clip me off a piece of that.
Ravelli: Now for rehearsing, we make special rate. That's-a fifteen dollars an hour...That's-a for rehearsing.
Spaulding: And what do you get for not rehearsing?
Ravelli: You couldn't afford it. You see, if we don't rehearse, we a-don't play, and if we don't play (he snaps his finger) - that runs into money.
Spaulding: How much would you want to run into an open manhole?
Ravelli: Just-a the cover charge! Ha, ha, ha.
Spaulding: Well, drop in some time.
Ravelli: Sewer.
Spaulding: Well, we cleaned that up pretty well.
Ravelli: Well, let's see how-a we stand.
Spaulding: Flat-footed.
Ravelli: Yesterday, we didn't come. (To Mrs. Rittenhouse) You remember, yesterday we didn't come?
Spaulding: Oh, I remember.
Ravelli: Yes, that's three hundred dollars.
Spaulding: Yesterday, you didn't come, that's three hundred dollars?
Ravelli: Yes, three hundred dollars.
Spaulding: Well, that's reasonable. I can see that alright.
Ravelli: Now today, we did come. That's-a (pause)..
Spaulding: That's a hundred you owe us.
Ravelli: Hey, I bet I'm gonna lose on the deal. Tomorrow we leave. That's worth about (pause).
Spaulding: A million dollars.
Ravelli: Yeah, that's alright for me, but I've got a partner.
Spaulding: What?!
Go RED! Go BLUE! Go MUSTANGS! S-M-U!!

Thanks for the explanation.
I'm not a marketing major, but I've always heard you wanted your product associated with positive experiences. Is there a refund clause?

Actually, most of this whole coaching speculation stuff comes very close to being a Marx Brothers routine (mindless prattle, but entertaining none the less). That being said, any thread containing a Marx Brother quote automatically qualifies as genius in my book.
Nobody in football should be called a genius. A genius is a guy like Norman Einstein.

Um, didn't we travel this road with PB? He was an assistant at OU at one point when Roy Williams was there.
