Reaction to Jim Fassel

Post by dcfan »

How WOULD you guys react to Jim Fassel as a candidate (I use 'would' since I've heard no such rumor)? Currently he's a commentator for the NFL Network. Among his former positions were OC for Ravens, HC for NY Giants (took them to the Super Bowl), various coaching positions with Raiders, Denver, and Cardinals. Coaching in college included Utah State, Stanford, and U of Utah (HC here). He has been known as a bit of a QB guru.

Throwing it out there. Constructive thoughts encouraged. Venomous rants need not post.

he'd also have the chance to do the prerequisite nepotistic hire for an SMU job. His son, John, I believe is still on staff at Baltimore. Was a D2 head coach at NM Highlands, where Rex Ryan was once D coordinator.
