Kragthorpe to SMU

Postby cardsfan1 » Tue Nov 20, 2007 1:29 am

Hi, I am a HUGE Louisville fan. I read that Kragthorpe is coming to SMU, does anyone think this rumor is true?
What are the current odds for your next coach?
Some predictions...
Kragthorpe-2:1
Bowden- 5:1
Nutt-12:1
Shula-15:1
Davis-30:1

It won't be Krag.

My money's on the ex-Hawg (although if the moon and the stars align in such a fashion that we can somehow get Davis, I'd be ecstatic).

I'm guessing Houston Nutt.

I know Louisville hates this guy, but why drive him out after only 1 year? I can't see either Jurich or Kragthorpe recant so quickly on their contract no matter the result of the first year. Petrino left nothing on defense for Kragthorpe and Kragthorpe sports one of the most potent offenses in the nation. I would think he gets a better shake than 1 year.

Folks wanted to run Tom Landry out of Dallas after a slow start, too, and Tex Schramm responded with a 10-year extension. Methinks there's some Cowboys fans out there who are glad the way things worked out.

Houston Nutt will not become SMU's next coach.

Instead of just posting the same crap we've already been through 100s of times, why don't you take a few minutes to read a few existing threads? Don't just join up to the site and expect everyone to take time to repost the same information over and over.
