How do you know? You only know of when we got caught. There is usually a precursor to getting caught.

why are you going backwards and answering all the people without them responding to your last post of jibberish?

This is the post of the year! We are 1-10! Hell yes he could have played better, along with the rest of the team. Coaches could have coached better. Calm down jt.

Read my post. I never said he could not have played better. He made mistakes like every player on the team that played. There is improvements to be made. If we were 9-2 JWill would tell you there are improvements to be made. Continuing to get better is what it is all about. We are talking about 18, 19 and 20 year old. Damn right, they all have some work to do.

would any of those improvements be how he handles the ball?

That was an easy one even for you J. T. Taking care of the football would be the most important one. Hopefully our next HC will limit the number of times JWill has to play the role of run for your life, or "JWill make something happen".

i guess he hasnt heard of THROWING THE BALL AWAY...he doesnt always have to turn a busted play into something...throw it away and play another down instead of running and fumbling and watching the other team score from your sideline

Throw it away on 2nd or 3rd down when he knows they will bring the house? We can't consistently block 4 with 5, and we damn sure can't block 6 or 7 with 5. C'mon JT your points are pointless. Why do you insist on condemning a kid that has the fire and flare we need to rebuild this program. Oh, I think I said it flare. You old [deleted] don't like the flare?

And JT, he threw away several balls this year. Some to his receivers and some to the other team, as well as some to the sidelines.

He has thrown several away when he threw them to our receivers. Might as well been thrown away. I get your point JT, but understand mine. Athletes operate off instinct, good and bad. Hopefully we will get a HC in here that can use the instincts in a positive way.

yes, i understand you fully and acknowledge the fact that hes still a young maturing adult but when you want to lead a D-1 team...you sometimes have to be mentally tough and i dont feel as if JW is there yet...

we'll have 2 years and a new coach to figure that out.

As long as he plays the game he will continue to mature. That is just part of it. Leading a D-1 team? We have to get a D-1 team before they can be lead. C'mon JT, with what he had to work with, he did just fine mentally. Mental toughness and leadership also involves playing hurt, fighting until the end, being there for your teammates and so forth. Not just the X's and O's of the game. One thing you are missing JT, he is the leader of a D-1 team and has been for two seasons now. He has two more to go. A possibility of being the leader for 4 seasons. Does that just burn you up JT?

you're slightly wrong about that...winning the turnover battle (not having TOs) wins games...with those INTs and Fumbles...JW has definitely lost a few games for us this year...but youre right, it is not just him

That's idiotic - everyone was playing players. It was/is part of the game.
