Sorry, but Barnett didn't rape anybody. But why am I talking to someone is of the opinion, "this is SMU Football, we suck, get used to it." F-You. I hope Krapthorpe rapes you when he gets to SMU.
Colt Brennan didnt rape anyone either...he maintains his innocence from that scandal
Very well could have been, most likely was out of control prior, but he was still there for 5 years before things blowing up...that is plenty of time to change things if you are so inclined.
SMU is a private school. Thus, we can ban female butches from the team, thus no problem with Barnett.
Please show me where I said he raped anyone...he did however ignore the person's reporting of the incident. Once again open a magazine, get on the internet and do some research if you don't think that has been proven. Now for the other crap...I am not saying anything like "we suck, get used to it." I am saying that perhaps considering our history we can't go and take a chance on a guy that has been in charge of an out of control program. I am saying lets be realistic and understand that we are currently ranked number 115 in D1 and to expect that Urban Meyer or any major named coach is kicking down our door to be our HC is moronic. I am saying that we are multiple touchdown underdogs to a program like Baylor at the moment, so forgive me if I don't live in the dream that Les Miles is crying to be our coach. I am asking nicely to tell me the options that previous coaches like Cavan and Bennett are going to enjoy after spending time here at SMU? Bennett was a coach in demand as a DC when he took the position, now he will be lucky to be a DC at one of our rivals. And as for the last statement...I am sure you a prepubescent little kid so I will ignore it.
Here is a link about Barnett that might tell you more about this whole saga.
