All D1 schools have money. Don't say, a desire to resurrect a program. That has been tried. What could it be? What is the incentive?

I'm not saying this applies to the three above, but there very well could be a top shelf coach with a personal connection to SMU or Dallas who could come here. It isn't impossible. Let people have hope.

I do think SMU is an attractive coaching job beacuse of the following

SMU football has a rich history and name
Dallas is the epicenter of college football recruiting
Great Facilities
7-3 makes you a friggin heroe (low expectations)
1.5 million is still alot of dang money

No, juat trying to be realistic. What would be the incentive for a top shelf coach to come to SMU?
