Timeout!

Postby Water Pony » Fri Nov 23, 2007 11:33 am

For today (and tomorrow), relax on the coaching speculation.

We have a game to win. Our seniors (bless them), the team and Phil want and need a victory in Memphis.

Beat the Tigers. Go Ponies! We are with you today!

In my humble opinion, I think the intent was likely to start drinking today in preparation for the game tomorrow... at least, that's how I'm choosing to view it ::coughs:: (If that wasn't the intent - it sure as hell should have been)
pffffffffffft - I see the ScrewUp Fairy has visited us again.

Hell, let them talk! This message board is the best thing going at SMU. How amusing some of this crap is. We are talking about bringing in Fran, Barnett, Bowden and Applewhite. What a freaking joke. We are actually comparing ourselves to schools that actually play football. Could everyone please take a chill pill on the coaching [deleted]? Orsini has no clue. Turner has no clue. We are dead in the water. Coach K turned us down with the National media listening (I don't believe him). We have football fans and coaches across the nation reading this [deleted] and laughing their [deleted] off. Stallion you have the HC job. Pick your assistants from the board. Who would they be?

Chump? Who the hell says chump anymore? I am telling you we need to build a program here. We need someone that will be willing to stay for the long haul. He has to be young, energetic, knows/has recruited in the metroplex, and has a positive reputation in the coaching community, (can bring in proven assistants).

I was just talking [deleted] about Orsini. He had a coach from day one. You will see when he makes his announcement. Someone he has known for years and probably worked together in the past. It will not be a WOW, maybe wow!
