Didn't things get interesting tonight!
However, not to rain on anybody's parade (have to keep it dark you know)
Riddle me this Batman: Whey was Fran passing in the 4th qtr with a 21 point lead?

It really was Mike Leach with a Coach Fran disguise.

Don't know but wouldn't you like to be able to ask him that at a Tuesday Mustang luncheon after having won 38-30?

I still gag at the thought of him coaching SMU. Even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while. And why did he call a time out at the end of the 1st quarter when there was one second on the clock and Texas had 4th down?

Yeah, yeah, yeah.... I loathe Frannochio, Frangoat.... whatever else Franjoke you can add here.... but as I said to my bro a few weeks ago, after we finished emotionally puking over the idea - wouldn't have been dancing in the streets if we got him one year into his 'Bama gig?
I don't think he's a bad coach. I just think he's a jerk. And I hate him doubly for what he (LT) did at/for TCUseless...... but just as I hated Belfour (as a Blues fan before the Stars came to town, then they became my second team, and still I hated the Blackhawks)... well then he became our [deleted].
Same with TO. But I kind of loved him and his brash attitude at San Fran.... why did I kind of love him at San Fran? Well he was a young punk, and they interviewed Jerry Rice in a story not directly related to Owens, but while they were both 'Niners. They asked him what still motivated him, and he wnet through a lot of different things, and then he said "... if that's not enought, my sons favorite player is Terell Owens."
Of course I loved and hated him then. But then when he went to the eagles. The - makes me want to puke in my mouth (no respect for) - EAGLES! I hated him. I loathed him. I went to that Monday Night game when every time it looked like we had McSchlabb he would find TO for seemingly a 60 yard TD everytime. I HATED HIM.
When it looked like the Cowpokes were going to sign him... I thought, cancer, ugliness, jackhole... but then there was a part of me who knew, that somehow I could love this arse. ANd that soon he would have us talking Super Bowl, my friens said to me, "You're not serious!" I said that I was more than serious, "I hate the guy, but I could easily love the guy."
Not sure I could "love" Franchiphoney.... but he could grow on me... and maybe, just maybe... well I don't want to go there.

You guys are some of the most fickle, emotionally-driven people ever. Almost everyone on this board has trashed the idea of Fran as coach from the first suggestion, but now that he has a win of UT and an emotional press conference he's suddenly a great guy and a great head coach candidate.

Look back... I said the same thing before... I loathe fran but think I would be happy with him if he came here. The win over Texas made me post the "who wouldn't be happy with" but didn't change my "I loathe Fran" nature, or the I think "I could accept it" part of me.... and "maybe like it" part of me.
I just shuddered again.

I would have been almost as horrified if we had gotten him from Alabama. Now he has the stink of aggie on him as well as the stink of Bama. I really don't think he is as great as he thinks he is.

Second tiers go to Lubbock, Tx. We get third tiers at most positions we have.

I'll agree with that last statement.... I think the stink of his smug mug turning around TCU is worse than those stinks combined. (Though I think I loathe aTm more than TCU, but I can't be sure anymore..... just because that's how far we have fallen. That I hate TCU.... I used to not care about them.)

Agreed. I cannot stand either school. But growing up in FW, I've always hated TCU. It is much more pronounced these days, though.

Orsini said he was hiring a HC with BCS background! Do any of you have a life or is this just a Deliverance message board?
